Role Description The Engenheira(o) will work on-site in Caldas da Rainha in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design, operation, and maintenance of water systems for industrial and human consumption. Daily tasks include assessing system performance, conducting technical inspections, diagnosing issues, and proposing engineering solutions to improve reliability, safety, and efficiency. The role involves preparing technical documentation, reports, and project plans, as well as coordinating with technicians, suppliers, and clients to ensure that maintenance activities and installations meet regulatory and quality standards. The Engenheira(o) will participate in the implementation of innovative technologies, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help optimize processes across the company’s portfolio of systems and contracts. Occasional site visits to client facilities in the region will be required to oversee projects and provide on-site technical guidance. Qualifications Strong foundation in engineering principles related to water systems, maintenance, and industrial facilities (e.g., mechanical, civil, environmental, or related engineering).Experience with operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of water capture, treatment, and distribution systems, preferably for human consumption and industrial use.Ability to read and prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation, and to use relevant engineering and maintenance management tools or software.Knowledge of applicable safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations and standards for water systems and industrial maintenance.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with technicians, clients, and partners and to provide clear technical guidance.Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities, including managing multiple projects and priorities on-site.Degree in Engineering (mechanical, civil, environmental, industrial, or similar) or equivalent technical qualification; professional certification or registration is an advantage.Relevant experience in maintenance, water sector projects, or industrial operations; experience in the Portuguese market is a plus.Comfortable working full time on-site in Caldas
