Risk Real Estate Funds

Adecco Recruitment is currently recruiting a Risk Officer Real Estate Funds to join an international management company specialized in the oversight, risk management, and governance of traditional and alternative investment funds. Based in Porto, this role offers the opportunity to work in a highly specialized and international environment, with exposure to real estate funds and other alternative asset classes. Key Responsibilities • Identify, assess, and monitor risks associated with investment funds, with a particular focus on Real Estate and other Real Assets; • Monitor and analyze key risk indicators, including exposure, concentration, liquidity, and leverage; • Ensure compliance with investment policies, risk limits, and applicable regulatory requirements; • Contribute to the preparation of risk reports and analyses supporting decision-making processes; • Support the execution of sensitivity analyses, stress testing, and risk scenario assessments; • Collaborate closely with Portfolio Management, Compliance, and other internal and external stakeholders; • Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management methodologies, processes, and tools. Candidate Profile • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field; • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Risk Management, preferably within the financial services, Asset Management, or Fund Management sectors; • Knowledge of financial analysis, investment valuation, and risk monitoring; • Experience or familiarity with Real Assets, alternative investment funds, or illiquid assets will be considered an advantage; • Knowledge of the regulatory framework applicable to investment funds, particularly AIFMD and alternative investment funds; • Strong Excel skills; • Fluency in English (mandatory); • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and accuracy; • Autonomous, organized, and results-oriented approach; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
