Indirect Procurement Specialist (Non-Productive Materials & Services)

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck Europe (MFTE) is seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement Specialist to support the procurement of non-productive materials and services across the organization, in Tramagal, Abrantes This role is responsible for managing suppliers, sourcing activities, negotiations, contracts, and procurement projects across various indirect spend categories. The successful candidate will help improve processes, reduce costs, ensure compliance, and support business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Manage procurement activities for indirect materials and services. • Lead sourcing projects, RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, and negotiations. • Develop sourcing strategies aligned with business needs. • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities. • Perform spend analysis, market research, and procurement reporting. • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. • Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements. • Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements. • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and sustainability requirements. • Support contract and supplier risk management. • Contribute to procurement process improvements and best practices. • Support P2P processes and procurement systems. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management. • Experience managing multiple indirect procurement categories. • Experience in multinational or complex business environments. • Knowledge of categories such as Security Services, Transportation, Mobility, Telecommunications, or similar. • Strong understanding of sourcing, procurement processes, and contract management. • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills. • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset. • Experience in spend analysis, supplier performance management, and procurement reporting. • Proficiency in Power BI, dashboard creation, advanced Excel, and data analysis tools. • Experience with procurement/ERP systems (SAP preferred). • Fluent in English. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience across multiple indirect spend categories. • Procurement certification (CIPS, ISM, or equivalent). • Experience in procurement transformation, process improvement, or cost reduction initiatives. • Knowledge of supplier risk management and procurement governance.
